Some of you have been asking…

Your presence, love and friendship in our lives far surpass any material possession.  We don’t expect wedding gifts but we understand that you may wish to give us something on this occasion. Whatever you would like to give us is wonderful and the choice is yours.

We’ve been living together some years and already have most household necessities. Our preference is a contribution to our honeymoon fund or if you prefer a more traditional approach you can view the small selection of items we have chosen for our gift registry. Our registry has been set-up online with Peter’s Of Kensington, Sydney.

To access the Peter’s Of Kensington registry follow the link below. Over the Christmas period the store is closed and will reopen on Monday 10 January 2011. Any payments submitted during the closed period will be processed after the 10th. We were also told that the whole online store goes on sale during January meaning that most items we selected will be listed at a reduced price during this period.

Summerlees Cottage 1899

Bob, my gorgeous friend and a talented curator, has discovered some photographs of Summerlees Cottage taken in 1899 and I just had to share them! Arthur Wigram Alan was a Sydney lawyer and an avid photographer who recorded much if his privileged life during the Edwardian period. It may well be that we fill the ballroom and dance the night away as he did during his visit to the venue over 100 years ago!
