If you’re spending a few extra days in the Southern Highlands you may want to visit some of the markets, gardens or other attractions in the area.

MITTAGONG MARKETS
Date: Sat 19 Feb, 8am to 3pm.
Venue: Uniting Church Grounds - Cnr Alice & Albert St Mittagong
With over 60 stalls there is a wide range of quality products and gifts. Everything from plants, collectibles, produce, children's toys and clothing as well as a quality selection of handcrafted goods, jewellery and items for the mind, body and spirit.

BUNDANOON MARKETS

Venue: Bundanoon Memorial Hall, Railway Pde, Bundanoon
Under cover markets featuring plenty of stalls from arts & crafts to plants and bric-a-brac.

BOWRAL COUNTRY MARKETS           
Date: Sun 20 Feb 2011, 9 am to 2 pm
Venue: Kazcare Education Facilities Cnr Kirkham & Centennial Roads, Bowral
"Bowral Country Markets" held 3rd Sunday of every month. A new market place concept for the highlands! Showcasing hand made, hand painted, home grown, home produced, home baked and local entertainment.

Kangaroo Valley Show
Kangaroo Valley Showground, Moss Vale Road

Kangaroo Valley Agricultural and Horticultural Show is a great family event, to be held at the Kangaroo Valley Showground on Moss Vale Road. It will have plenty of action with equestrian events, cattle and horse judging, a rodeo, amusement rides and sideshow alley, dog show and lots more fun!

Bradman Museum of Cricket
The Bradman Museum of Cricket is located in the Southern Highlands town of Bowral. Located in St Jude Street Bowral, just off the F5 Freeway (Hume Hwy), between Sydney & Canberra. The Museum is open everyday from 10am to 5pm. While visiting the Museum, consider experiencing the self guided Bradman Walk. This walk takes you on a self-guided tour of Bowral, visiting some of the historic sites associated with Sir Donald Bradman AC. Marvel at this five acre woodland garden filled with rare and unusual trees and shrubs, set amongst a backdrop of eucalypts. You can also visit the specialist nursery with an extensive range of rare plants.
